American Utility Metals makes industrial purchase in Akron

Baton Rouge, La.-based American Utility Metals has purchased a single-story manufacturing facility in Akron, Ohio for an undisclosed price from Scarborough, Ontario-based Vasilev Holdings.

Bob Raskow and Harry Stewart of NAI Cummins Real Estate brokered the deal on behalf of both parties.

The building is located at 1246 Princeston St. and contains 54,000 square feet. It has been fully leased to AUM for the past five years by its subsidiary, American Utility Processing, a joint venture between AUM and a local investors. AUP is a Utility Grade Stainless Steel 3CR12 distributor.
